Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Ministry of Commerce announced, Thursday, that 343 Toyota RAV4s have been recalled, due to a defect that may increase the risk of accidents.

The Saudi trade clarified that the imbalance can occur in the “lower front arms, which may lead to the separation of the arm in the event of repeated acceleration and deceleration, which increases the risk of an accident.”
In a tweet posted on its official page on the social networking site, Twitter, Saudi Trade indicated that the cars included in this recall are from the 2019-2020 model year.
As for the procedure called for by the Ministry, it explained: “Verify the inclusion of the vehicle’s chassis number through Recalls.sa and communicate with the company to make the necessary repairs free of charge.”
