Salah’s goal came after a quick start from the middle of the stadium towards the opponent’s goal, and dodged the splendor of the Atalanta defender before he landed on his left in his usual way to the right of the Italian goalkeeper.
Salah’s goal outperformed four goals that were nominated for the award, 3 of which were for the Portuguese Diogo Gotha, who scored a goal in each of Brighton and Leicester City in the “Premier League” and Atalanta in the Champions League, in addition to the goal of Rensola Papajid, the women’s “Reds” player, against Sheffield United.
