A family in Hassi al-Farid, in the Tunisian state of Kasserine, found the decapitated body of their son, in the closed military area of Jebel Salloum.
The victim’s uncle, Najib al-Dhibi, confirmed in a statement to the Tunisian News Agency (WAT) that his nephew, 32-year-old Oqba Dhibi, was slaughtered by a terrorist group when he was about to herd sheep after he was accused of passing information about them to the security units.
Najeeb al-Dhibi pointed out that the slaughter took place in front of the victim’s two brothers and his cousin, after they were tied with ropes before they were released upon completion of the crime.
Security sources confirmed to (Watt) that the news circulated is likely to be a terrorist group behind this crime.
It indicated that investigations are underway to uncover the circumstances of the accident and confirm its terrorist nature.
It stated that security and military reinforcements went to the scene to comb the area and track down the footsteps of the terrorists.
