Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu called on his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias to “stop seeking help from others and harming the reputation of his people.”
Ihsanoglu said in a tweet on “Twitter” in which he addressed to Dendias: “Dear Dendias, here is a friendly advice on the occasion of the New Year: stop asking for help from others, and damage the reputation of the Greek people.”
He added, “Let 2021 be a year in which we will discuss our differences fairly and through direct and serious dialogue.”

And Dendias had indicated in a tweet that his country had raised the issue of imposing an arms embargo on Turkey for several times on the European Union’s agenda, pointing out that the recent US sanctions against Ankara came because of the recent sabotage of the ranks of the ranks within NATO.
