The election campaign of US President Donald Trump announced that it would demand the Supreme Court again to cancel the election results in Pennsylvania, questioning the victory of President-elect Joe Biden.
Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani said in a statement issued by the campaign that it had called on the Supreme Court to overturn 3 rulings issued by the Pennsylvania State Court regarding the rules for mail-in voting.
He added, “We are seeking to annul decisions that stripped the Pennsylvania Parliament of protections related to fraud in mailing voting.”
For his part, Joshua Douglas, professor of election law at the University of Kentucky, said, “The petition has no value and will not prevent Biden from taking over the presidency on January 20,” and that the court will close the file quickly.
On December 11, the Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas and supported by Trump to annul voting results in 4 states, including Pennsylvania, which Biden won.
