Official media reported that the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar will receive the first shipment of the Pfizer Bionic vaccine on Monday, while it is likely to arrive on Wednesday in the Sultanate of Oman.

A statement by the Qatari Ministry of Health stated that the country had authorized the use of the vaccine in emergency situations for those over the age of 16. Qatar has also signed an agreement with Moderna to purchase its vaccine to prevent COVID-19.
In the Sultanate of Oman, an official at the Ministry of Health said in statements transmitted by a government account on “Twitter” today, Monday, that the country will receive the first shipment of the Pfizer-Bionic vaccine on Wednesday, indicating that the initial stage will include 20 percent of the population.
Saudi Arabia last week became the first Arab country to start vaccination with the Pfizer-Bionic vaccine.
Kuwait said it expects to start receiving the two companies’ vaccines before the end of this year.
This month, the UAE and Bahrain authorized the use of a vaccine to prevent Covid-19 developed by the Chinese company Sinopharm. Bahrain has authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine.
