The World Health Organization has called on governments to take whatever measures they can to limit the spread of two new strains of the emerging coronavirus, which were discovered in Britain and South Africa.

In a press statement, WHO spokesman Tariq Yasarevic said today, Monday, “Viruses change during their circulation and this may lead to a change in their properties. Everyone should make all possible measures to slow the spread of this virus and ultimately stop its spread.”
When asked about the organization’s position regarding some countries suspending air traffic between them and Britain and South Africa, Jasevic indicated that the decision regarding restricting flights rests with the governments, adding that the World Health Organization “advises taking positions based on an assessment of the extent of the threat.”
And the spokesman told the spokesman that the organization remains in constant contact with medical officials and scientists in Britain and South Africa about what they have discovered in terms of behavioral changes, and that work is currently underway to analyze the situation, in order to “determine whether this virus is more easily transmitted between humans and if it causes Symptoms more dangerous than the disease, although it can affect the performance of tests and vaccinations.
On December 14, the British Minister of Health, Matt Hancock, announced that British scientists had discovered a new strain of Corona virus that may be the cause of the spread of “Covid-19” disease very quickly in southeast England.
