Egypt … reveals the Corona strains present on its soil and the advantage of one of them

Hossam Hosni, head of the scientific committee to combat the emerging corona virus at the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, revealed that Egypt has three strains of Corona virus, one of which is weak.

Hossam Hosni confirmed that there is no truth to the existence of new strains of the virus that have appeared in Egypt.

The head of the Scientific Committee to Combat Corona Virus said that Egypt will not allow any person to enter from abroad until after a swab is conducted to ensure that the analyzes are negative, and not to mix and enter any new strain spread abroad, according to the “seventh day” website.

For her part, Dr. Noha Assem, Assistant Minister for Research Affairs, revealed that the volunteers who participated in the clinical trials in its third phase under the slogan “for humanity” and whose number reached 3 thousand, did not show any serious symptoms.

And she stated in press statements that the side effects that appeared on the volunteers were simple symptoms, which were high temperature, redness of the vaccination site and a cough, confirming that they disappeared within days on their own.
