The Monitoring and Rules Committee of the Russian State Duma (MPs) supported today, Tuesday, a bill giving Russian President Vladimir Putin the right to run for two additional terms.
In a press statement, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Mikhail Romanov, said that the monitoring committee recommended deputies to adopt the bill on the first reading, during a general meeting of the State Duma on Wednesday 23 December.
