A loud concert, held at the shrine of the Prophet Musa, east of Jerusalem, caused a great uproar, prompting Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh to form an investigation committee to find out what happened in violation of the sanctity of the place.
The pioneers of social media circulated videos from the concert, which was held by a group of young people last Saturday, which showed a noisy atmosphere and dancing, with the introduction of alcoholic drinks, which prompted young people from Jerusalem to intervene and break the ceremony and expel the party organizers and participants.
The incident sparked widespread anger over what many considered an offense to Islamic sanctities.
According to what the journalist, Christine Rinawi, reported on her Facebook page, she contacted the Minister of Tourism, Rola Maayah, who explained that the celebration in the mosque and the shrine of the Prophet Musa has nothing to do with the glorious birthdays, and all those present are not Christians, and they are not from a house Meat, and they were present at the place to photograph material for their institution, which is responsible for a citizen from one of the West Bank governorates.
She stated that the Ministry of Tourism did not grant permission to the institution to photograph, but rather the Ministry of Endowments responsible for the place and which allowed the institution to exist in the public place and not the mosque and to use it for photography.
The journalist described the ceremony as provocative and offensive, and said: “Everyone has the right to be angry with him and confirm that holding such parties in holy places and have their status is unacceptable and offensive to the feelings of people and for every lover of this country, whether he is a Muslim or Christian.”
On the other hand, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Husam Abu al-Rub said: “The ministry did not give anyone permission to photograph or celebrate, and it was not aware of what happened in the shrine of Prophet Musa.”
# The shrine of the Prophet_Moussa East Jerusalem is one of the holy places in the Islamic world.
The Jerusalemites were surprised by holding a party and dancing inside the mosque, and after inquiring about who was allowed to do this disgraceful act, they answered with permission from the Ministry of Endowments and Tourism. !!

For his part, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the judge in the Palestinian Authority, said in a post on Facebook: “I feel disgusted and angry at what happened in the Nabi Musa mosque in East Jerusalem, and I do not know until this moment who is responsible for this sin, but whoever is responsible must be He receives a deterrent penalty commensurate with the horror of what happened, because the mosque is the house of God, and I deprived it of the sanctity of religion.
The history of the shrine of the Prophet Musa near the city of Jericho dates back to the reign of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, and this building has no historical relationship with the Prophet Moses, as it is historically proven that the Prophet Moses died and was buried in the wilderness, and did not enter Palestine.
