President Vladimir Putin attends a Christmas mass in one of the oldest churches

Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a Christmas mass at St. Nicholas Church in Lebno, Novgorod Province.

Putin arrived in the province by helicopter, before taking a helicopter to go to the old church.

The Church of Saint Nicholas was built in Lebno in 1292 and is one of the oldest churches in Russia.
