The official agency said that an artillery shell fired by an Israeli tank landed on the house of a citizen of the Abdel-Jawad family in Al-Maghazi camp, and was subsequently transferred to the “Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital” in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
She added, quoting security sources, that the injury that reached the hospital as a result of artillery shelling was a young man and his condition was stable, as he was wounded in his left foot.
Israeli tanks stationed behind the separation fence in the eastern Gaza Strip targeted locations east of Gaza City, east of the Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps in the central Gaza Strip, and two sites east of the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.
In addition, Israeli artillery fired at least one shell towards a site northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, destroying it and setting it on fire.
The shelling caused material damage to some houses near the targeted places.
The Israeli army said that the shelling was in response to a missile fired at Israeli settlements from the Gaza Strip.
