The Moroccan site reported that professionals place high hopes on new markets to launch the tourist season in Morocco during the first half of this year.
The Moroccan expert in the field of tourism, Zobair Bouhout, confirmed in a statement to Hespress that the Israeli market constitutes one of the tourist markets that Moroccan professionals can bet on.
He added that “Israel has recorded the highest and fastest Corona vaccination rates in the world, and there is a great thirst for Moroccan Jews residing there in order to make a tourist visit to the Kingdom, and Moroccan professionals must speed up preparing the appropriate grounds for receiving tourist groups, by providing services that respond to their religious and ideological requirements.” .
He pointed out that expectations indicate the possibility of reaching 200 thousand Israeli tourists, who will often come to Morocco in order to visit historical monuments and Jewish religious monuments, which requires Moroccan travel agencies to set up religious tourism routes suitable for this category of tourists, according to what he said.
He explained that the Israelis are among the largest spenders of tourists, as their average individual spending exceeds a thousand dollars per tourist compared to less than 650 dollars for foreign tourists who come to Morocco from Europe in particular, which confirms the importance of attracting an increasing number of Israeli tourists who have ties to Historic with Morocco.
