Wally Lewis’ new relationship with his glamorous girlfriend Lynda Adams has reportedly turned the rugby league immortal’s three children against him.
Lewis, 61, rocked the sporting world on Monday night when he confirmed his separation from his wife and the mother of his three children.
He released a statement revealing he quietly split with wife of 36 years Jacqui last year and it later emerged he was in a new relationship with Ms Adams – a Townsville local.

Ms Adams, 61, became involved with the group in 2010 after losing six unborn children to miscarriage over ‘four dark years’
His adult children Mitchell, Jamie-Lee and Lincoln feel they have been forced to side with their distraught mother and are no longer speaking to their dad, sources told The Daily Telegraph.
‘Lincoln and his mum have always been very tight … he’s very much his mother’s boy,’ a close Lewis friend told reportedly told the paper.
‘She was the one who really encouraged him to pursue acting and always took a much bigger (parenting) role in his life.
‘He has always been open about that with people close to him. He has been known to say that he was raised by his mother.’
Mitchell and Jamie-Lee, as well as family friends, are believed to be in close contact with Jacqui as she tries to cope.
The legendary rugby league player is now dating Ms Adams, a volunteer at Sands Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Newborn Death Support Group in Townsville.
‘Wally and Jacqui Lewis separated last year after 36 years of marriage. It has been a difficult time for everyone in the family and they are still working through the details of the separation,’ a statement released by Channel Nine read earlier this week.
Ms Adams had five miscarriages before giving birth to a daughter through IVF, who is now 15.
She also recently split from her husband, property developer husband Mark Adams.

Jacqui had long been considered Lewis’ selfless ‘rock’ after he fell into depression after brain surgery in 2007.
She revealed she told Wally at the time: ”Why wouldn’t you tell me you were in so much pain?”
‘But he wanted to get over it himself. Depression is a very hard thing. Wally didn’t understand it.’
The circumstances were even more trying for Jacqui, whose own brother John had succumbed to the disease nine years earlier.
‘I knew he [Wally] was in a bad place but not in a hole like my brother,’ Jacqui continued.
‘He was just like a little puppy dog, a shadow, hanging around me all the time. He was so vulnerable and I thought he could never work again.’
Jacqui confessed she thought Wally’s condition would make it necessary to sell their house and she would have to return to work, before he made a steady recovery and she realised, ‘I’ve got my husband back.’

In 2009, Jacqui took to the airwaves to deal with the fallout from the revelations about son Lincoln’s sex tape with a teenage starlet, which he showed to his Home And Away castmates.
Phoning into the Ryan, Monty and Wippa Nova 969 drive show, Jacqui was asked how Wally had reacted to the news of son Lincoln’s indiscretion.
‘In the past Wally would have worried and got paranoid but now he’s so composed,’ she said.
‘Wally’s got to remember, as I’ve always told him, everything you do when you’re in the public eye belongs to the people.’
Lincoln didn’t show up at his usual gym class on Thursday, instead opting to go on a romantic morning walk (pictured) with his new flame
Wally’s statement called the split a ‘deeply personal matter that we do not want to discuss publicly’.
‘But I want to acknowledge the pain and upset my family has gone through since Jacqui and I separated last year. I hope over time we can rebuild our ties and move on with life,’ it continued.
‘I will confirm I am now in another relationship and only ask for the media to respect our privacy.’
Meanwhile, it was also recently revealed that Lincoln Lewis has a new girlfriend, Pandora Bonsor.
Wally Lewis’ son Lincoln has not yet confirmed his relationship with Ms Bonsor (pictured together, left), but is a mainstay on her profile and rung in the New Year with her and her family
The couple are believed to have met in mid-2020.
Ms Bonsor had earlier completed a trial shift in the cafe where Lincoln would pick up his morning coffee after going to the gym.
The former Home and Away actor has not yet confirmed his relationship with Ms Bonsor, but he is a mainstay on her profile and rung in the New Year with her and her family.

On Wednesday, he responded ‘you’re so beautiful’ to a picture he presumably took of her on a hike.
Meanwhile on Thursday, Ms Bonsor uploaded a short clip showing her being carried on Lincoln’s back.
‘My personal transport,’ she joked, before Lincoln referred to himself as ‘beach Uber’.
Lincoln appears to be seeking comfort in Ms Bonsor after the shock announcement that his parents had parted ways.
She shared a cryptic post on Wednesday which read: ‘Instead of ”why is this happening”, try ”what is this teaching me?”

The 33-year-old Logie winner thanked friends who had reached out after news broke of the separation.
‘When you have a friend who checks on and wants nothing but the best for you without motives… keep them close, such souls are rare,’ Lincoln wrote.
‘Try to be like this as much as I can but wanna show some appreciation.. lucky to have such amazing people in my life.’
