Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The “Tawakolna” application, the official application approved by the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, announced the end of its technical holiday and its return to work efficiently.
The application management said in a statement, Friday, that the diagnosis of the technical defect that was limiting many users’ access to the application during the past two days has been “completed.”
The statement added that the application is working very efficiently with the stability of the service after activating some technical reforms and improvements, indicating that users can benefit from the application to prove their health status during their entry into government departments or their visits to commercial centers and markets.
“Tawakolna” statement said that “work will be done to restore all application services during the next few period, foremost of which is the Corona examination reservation service, digital wallet services, dashboard and other services.”
The application management thanked its users for their understanding of the technical failure, noting that it occurred as a result of high entry operations to it.
The application stated that the total number of operations executed through it reached more than 250 million operations per day, “a very large number that does not exclude the occurrence of such technical problems.”
The “Tawakolna” application was launched on May 11th. It is currently used by about 12.5 million users, according to its administrations.
