The cereal brand shocked the world after suggesting fans should try to eat their baked beans on top of the cereal bricks, even sharing a picture of how to do it.

While the response to the unique meal was overwhelmingly negative, the brand certainly achieved its aim of attracting attention – even from Australia’s Victorian police.
‘Please do not report crime via social media,’ Victoria Police tweeted at Weetabix and HeinzUK.
The comment was liked 10,000 likes in under 14 hours.
The Weetabix Baked Beans tweet has become a marketers dream – with other companies such as Specsavers and Just Eat UK managing to cash in on the fun.
