The Jordanian Ministry of Health announced the start of the implementation of the vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees.
The Ministry stated, in a statement published by the Jordan News Agency on Sunday, that the campaign is a precautionary measure within the emergency response plan to contain the Corona pandemic, in a manner that contributes to protecting Syrian refugees in camps and residents on the land of Jordan and limiting the spread of infection with the Coronavirus.
Since January 14, Jordan has become one of the first countries around the world to start vaccinating refugees against Corona, after the vaccination plan was launched in the Kingdom.
Anyone living in the country, including refugees and asylum seekers, is entitled to receive the vaccine free of charge.
