The administration said in a statement today, Thursday, that the implementation of the decision will start from February 21 in a local hotel, for a period of 14 days, and at the expense of private arrivals.
The administration called on airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport to not allow passengers coming to Kuwait to board the plane, except after registering on the “Kuwait Traveler” platform.
The statement added that the incoming passengers pay the cost of performing two PCR tests, provided that the cost is collected through the “Kuwait Traveler” platform or airlines and ground service providers.
The statement also pointed out that all passengers coming from countries that are not prohibited from flying from them are obliged to take mandatory institutional quarantine in a local hotel for a period of 7 days at their own expense, provided that the quarantine period is completed for another 7 days in home quarantine.
