Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Saudi Arabia announced the launch of the “Made in Saudi” program, on Wednesday, to support the national product, starting from March 28th, under the auspices of the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which sparked widespread interaction on platforms Social Media.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, will launch the program on March 28, within the framework of the Crown Prince’s support for the Saudi national product, as well as an emphasis on increasing confidence and awareness of the national product and the national factories, according to the official Saudi News Agency (SPA).
The Saudi Export Authority announced that it will unveil the slogan “Made in Saudi Arabia”, which “presents a unified identity for Saudi products and services that represents the official identity to promote Saudi products and services locally and internationally,” before the minister revealed in a press conference the program’s plans, objectives and mechanism of action, according to Wass.
The “Made in Saudi Arabia” program is one of the economic goals of Vision 2030, which aims to diversify sources of income and support the national economy.
Many of the Saudi tweeters and dignitaries interacted with this news, and some of them discussed a question for the fall in a previous interview with Prince Muhammad bin Salman about the place of making the shemagh. The following are the most prominent reactions:
His Excellency the Minister of Industry, Bandar Al-Khorayef, @BAlkhorayef, spoke about the national industry that always preoccupies the Crown Prince .. The Minister asked a simple question: “Where is your shemagh made?” With pride we say #Madein_Saudi Arabia ?? https://t.co/vWwyddU4JK
“Where is your shemagh made?” It was a surprising question from His Highness the Crown Prince to the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar Al-Kharif, @BAlkhorayef a year ago … and today, under the auspices of the Crown Prince, we are witnessing the launch of the #Made_in_Saudi Arabia program … Ammar Ya Watan?? https://t.co/bFIi49wbuk
An ambitious vision from the Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, we saw it a reality in a short period of time, and what # made_in Saudi Arabia is nothing but one of its fruits. https://t.co/NStE0XkpuY
I extend my sincere thanks to His Highness, the Crown Prince, for sponsoring the launch of the #MadeIn Saudi Arabia program, through which we look forward to achieving our strategic orientations towards the beginning of a new era for Saudi industry, and I assure that society is a true partner for us in the program and an important element to achieve the aspirations of our country towards a comprehensive industrial renaissance.
