Russia recorded 9,299 cases of Coronavirus during the past day

During the past 24 hours, Russia recorded 9,299 new cases of coronavirus, 371 deaths, and 8,743 people have recovered.

And the new infections were distributed to 85 Russian regions, and the largest number of them were recorded in the capital, Moscow (1511), followed by the city of Saint Petersburg (881), and then the areas adjacent to the city of Moscow.

According to official figures and statistics, Russia has recorded 4 million and 456869 infections since the beginning of the epidemic, of which 4 million 69,395 people have recovered, while 9,5030 people have died from them so far.

The epidemiological situation in Russia has improved since the beginning of this year, after the launch of a free, comprehensive vaccination campaign using the home-made “Sputnik V” vaccine, which was registered last August as the world’s first anti-Coronavirus vaccine.

According to figures and data from Johns Hopkins University, the number of Coronavirus infections around the world since the start of the epidemic has reached about 123 million, while the death toll has exceeded 2.7 million so far.
