The UAE will invest $ 10 billion in the Indonesian Investment Authority, which is an Indonesian sovereign fund, the Emirates News Agency, WAM, reported on Tuesday.
Emirati investments will focus on strategic sectors in the Republic of Indonesia, including infrastructure, roads, ports, tourism, agriculture, and other promising vital sectors that have great prospects and potential for growth and contribute to enhancing economic and social progress in Indonesia.
The agency indicated that the investments will be directed to Indonesia in implementation of the directives of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
