Iran’s ambassador to Beijing, Mohammad Kashawarzadeh, said that the comprehensive cooperation plan between Iran and China, which extends to 25 years, is not against a third country and is based only on common interests.
The Iranian ambassador pointed out that the signing of the comprehensive cooperation plan document between Iran and China will determine the capabilities of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of technology, industry, transportation, shipping and energy, and will draw a clear horizon for the implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership.
The Iranian ambassador made it clear that this plan is not against a third country and is only based on common interests.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi signed in Tehran Saturday a joint strategic cooperation treaty between the two countries.
The agreement includes cooperation in the political, economic and technical fields, as well as defense and military cooperation, including the holding of joint military maneuvers.
The agreement also includes the development of Iranian airports and ports, the creation of new ports, the development of railways in Iran and the strengthening of infrastructure, and cooperation in the fields of energy, oil and petrochemicals.
It is reported that the document provides for Chinese investments in Iran worth 450 billion dollars.
