Satellite image of the delinquent container ship in the Suez Canal
The head of the Russian Space Agency, Dmitry Rogozin, published today, Sunday evening, the latest photo of the Japanese container ship “Evergiven” stranded in the Suez Canal.

The Russian official attached the picture taken by the Russian Earth-sensing satellite, “Resource B,” with a brief comment in which he said: “The giant container ship is still stranded.”
On March 23, one of the largest container ships in the world ran aground in the Suez Canal and cut off the shipping route through the canal.
The Russian ambassador to Cairo, Georgy Borisenko, confirmed Russia’s readiness to assist Egypt in dealing with the problem in the Suez Canal.
