The authorities of the city of Nashville, Tennessee, USA, announced the discovery of 4 bodies of people who died in the floods, which were caused by a storm that struck the state.
“The body of a 70-year-old man was found, his car was submerged in water, and the bodies of a 46-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man were found in a wooded area near a camp for the homeless,” said Nashville Police Chief John Drake.
He added, “The body of a 65-year-old man was found on a golf course.”
Later, the police announced that the body of the latter belonged to Douglas Hammond, who was living in the vicinity of the stadium, and was washed away by water when he got out of his car, which was stuck.
