Michael Strahan is set to appear as a guest investor on the upcoming 17th season of “Shark Tank.” The news was revealed during Monday’s broadcast of “Good Morning America,” where Strahan serves as a co-anchor.
Strahan, who has already filmed his appearance, shared his experience on “GMA.” “I was really nervous, but once you get there, they’re amazing,” he said. “They make you feel great. They really show you the ropes. I had a great time.” While he didn’t reveal the outcome of his negotiations, he teased that viewers will have to “watch to see” what happens.
He joins a notable lineup of guest sharks for the new season, including Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, “Fixer Upper” stars Chip and Joanna Gaines, designer Kendra Scott, and The New Primal founder Allison Ellsworth.
These guests will evaluate business pitches alongside the show’s main panel of investors: Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky, and Kevin O’Leary.
Season 17 of “Shark Tank” is scheduled to air Wednesdays this fall on ABC and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
