Two men are dead, and a mother and her 7-year-old daughter were injured, following a shooting in Philadelphia’s Tioga-Nicetown neighborhood on Saturday evening.
Police responded to the incident on the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue just before 8:30 p.m.
A 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were both shot multiple times and pronounced dead after being transported to Temple University Hospital.
A 26-year-old woman, the mother of the injured child, was also shot multiple times and rushed to Temple University Hospital. Her 7-year-old daughter suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center. Both the mother and daughter are in stable condition.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. No arrests have been made, and a motive has not yet been determined.
