Keita Bates-Diop, an unrestricted free agent, has reached a new dual agreement to return to the San Antonio Spurs next season 2021-22. ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski.
Bates-Diop, 25, was selected in the second round of the 2018 Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, playing in his first season as a professional 30 official games (3 as a starter) with figures of 5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 16 , 8 minutes of play.
After a year and a half in Minneapolis, in February 2020 he landed at the Denver Nuggets in a four-way operation, ending that course under the command of Mike Malone.
On November 29, 2020 he signed with the aforementioned Spurs through a dual agreement, interspersing minutes with the first team and with the Austin Spurs of the G League. In the Development League he exploded with 18 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1 assist per day.
