After not being drafted and spending two full seasons playing trash minutes in Utah, Juwan Morgan will try his luck in Massachusetts. The Boston Celtics have reached an agreement for the 24-year-old forward / power forward to conduct training camp with them. HoopsHype is the medium that the news has been echoed through the player’s representation agency. In 2018 Morgan already came to the league with a ten-day contract, and now he will have to fight again for a guaranteed salary.
In his two years with the Jazz Morgan he barely exceeds five minutes per game in a total of 50 regular league games. His high point came during the 2020 playoffs, where he played the seven games that did not serve his team to go to the first round against the Nuggets. Taking advantage of the absence of Mike Conley, Juwan started twice as a starter in the series, averaging 12 minutes in it. This same year he has played the Summer League with the Salt Lake City team, but since July 31 he was without a contract after the Jazz did not extend the qualified option.
