EIn his second game in the preseason, Usman Garuba played seven minutes in which he tried to help with his defense to the comeback of the Rockets, who finally lost 106-113.
The Spanish player came out on the stage replacing fellow rookie Alperen Sengun. His team lost 85-97 and, although he pressed the score, he could not complete the comeback. Garuba finished with a plug on Javonte Smart, missed a shot and caught a rebound.

The first made 20 points with 5/11 on triples and the second went to 24 with 4/7 from the arc. Bam Adebayo helped in the zone with 15 points and seven rebounds.
