Speculation has surfaced this year about a new remake of the iconic slasher film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with Top Gun: Maverick and Twisters star Glen Powell rumored to be attached.
JT Mollner, the writer and director of Strange Darling, is also reportedly involved in the reboot, alongside his frequent collaborator and producer, Roy Lee. Mollner is currently set to write the screenplay for Francis Lawrence’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Long Walk.
During the San Diego Comic-Con festivities, writer Rachel Leishman addressed the rumors directly with both Mollner and Lee.
