Blinken will also meet in Panama with President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes, as well as multilateral development banks, financial institutions, international organizations and NGOs to discuss migration, corruption and other issues of importance to the United States and Panama, he said. the notice.
During the visit, the Secretary of State will promote the Ninth Summit of the Americas, scheduled for early June in Los Angeles, California, where the leaders of the hemisphere will expand their efforts to address the most important issues for the region, “in order to foster a sustainable, resilient and equitable future,” the note concluded.
