Two undrafted free agent wide receivers, Gage Larvadain and Luke Floriea, have delivered impressive performances for the Cleveland Browns throughout the offseason, creating a compelling roster competition.
A recent fan poll asked which of the two prospects should earn a spot on the final 53-man roster. The results showed a clear preference for Floriea, who captured 64% of the vote, compared to 36% for Larvadain.
This outcome is somewhat surprising, as while Floriea, a local product, has been a dependable presence in Berea, Larvadain has frequently been the more explosive playmaker, consistently making highlight-reel catches.
Each player brings a distinct and valuable skill set to the field. Floriea excels with quick, sudden movements that allow him to gain separation early in his routes. In contrast, Larvadain has proven to be exceptional at the catch point and has a talent for creating yards after the reception.
Both receivers will have a significant opportunity to make their case in a live-game environment when Cleveland faces the Carolina Panthers in the team’s first preseason contest.
