Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry got a bit too excited celebrating a three-pointer Friday night as he hilariously tripped after making the shot.
The Warriors suffered a 119-112 loss to the Denver Nuggets in the final game of their preseason Friday before they kick off the 2022-23 NBA regular season next week.
Despite the eventual defeat, Curry had edged the reigning champions into the lead early in the third quarter with a neat three-pointer.
Warriors star Steph Curry tripped and crashed to court celebrating making a three-pointer
Curry missed the initial shot but he was gifted a second chance after Kevon Looney came down with the offensive rebound.
He reloaded and nailed the three-pointer on the second attempt. And he clearly enjoyed it as he excitedly pumped his arms and began reeling back down court on defense.
However, his celebration run did not last long as he tripped and crashed to court.
Thankfully, for Warriors fans he did not hurt anything, except maybe his ego, and he bounced back up brushing off the mishap and resumed playing defense on Bruce Brown. He continued playing for another seven minutes of the third quarter.

The 34-year-old led the Golden State Warriors with 23 points in the preseason game
Curry led the Warriors with 23 points as Denver defeated the Warriors on a night that Klay Thompson and Draymond Green returned to action for Golden State.
Nikola Jokic had 21 points, Michael Porter Jr. had 15 points for the Nuggets, and Bones Hyland finished with 19 points.
Thompson scored 14 points, playing 17 minutes. It was the first action of the preseason for Thompson, who is still ramping up for the preseason.
Meanwhile, Green returned to the lineup after his punch of Jordan Poole during a practice last week. The team fined Green, but he was not suspended for his actions. Green played 24 minutes in his return, scoring two points.
