Matt Hancock has been spotted ahead of his I’m A Celeb entrance – after spending a week isolating at a £2million luxury five-bedroom beachfront house with a private pool.
The former Health Secretary, 44, who will be seen for the first time in camp on Wednesday night’s show, was all smiles as he emerged from the designer boutique property in New South Wales, Australia where he’s been holed up since landing last week.
An eyewitness told MailOnline that Matt looked in good spirits as he made his final preparations before travelling to the I’m A Celeb jungle, which will be a far cry from the beachfront home he’s been living in complete with swimming pool and round-the-clock security.
Ready and raring: Matt Hancock has been spotted ahead of his I’m A Celeb entrance – after spending a week isolating at a £2million luxury five-bedroom beachfront house with a private pool
‘Matt has been living a life of luxury since landing in Australia,’ they explained.
‘The holiday house, which has an idyllic view of the beach, has a private pool, five bedrooms, and four bathrooms, and it sleeps up to 10 people.
‘He’s had his breakfast, lunch, and dinner specially delivered to him and an array of toiletry products too.’
He is now being rushed into camp earlier than anticipated alongside comedian Seann Walsh, 36, to save the ITV show hours after Olivia Attwood, 31, was forced to leave on medical grounds.

On Tuesday morning, Matt was spotted leaving his isolation home, where he was given ‘special treatment’ to continue using his phone and laptop, to do some filming for I’m A Celeb at a top-secret location.
He returned four hours later and was overheard telling his security guard ‘Can you get my bag with my boots?’ as he gathered his belongings before leaving for camp.
Stood next to his beefy security guard, Matt wore a navy-blue T-shirt and light-coloured shorts, and had removed a red hat he had been wearing to remain undercover.
Living the dream: The former Tory MP has been living at the property in New South Wales, which is halfway between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, for a week – while his co-stars entered the jungle last Friday
Natural light: Every level of the home has a large balcony, which is perfect for tanning in the warm Australian weather, though Matt avoided being spotted – so stayed indoors
Step outside: The property would have given Matt direct access to the white sands of Salt Beach, where he could unwind with a view of the ocean
Matt simply grinned when asked if he was looking forward to eating kangaroo penis in the jungle.

In comparison to Matt’s beach pad, Chris Moyles, 48, described his isolation home as a ‘caravan.’
Speaking before going into camp, the former Radio One DJ said: ‘Isolation has been okay. Well, it’s weird… it’s very weird. It’s psychologically fascinating.
‘I could go down that route, but it might be too much. I’ve got a nice caravan on the beach, and they let me out for half an hour a day.’

Earlier this week, the Daily Mail exclusively revealed that Matt was given ‘special treatment’ ahead of his jungle stint by being granted permission to use his phone and laptop during his isolation period.
Matt, who lost the Tory whip when it was announced he had signed up, was allowed to speak to his personal advisor via Zoom despite his co-stars having their technology confiscated.
A source said: ‘Matt has been given a different arrangement during his isolation period to the other contestants. He has been allowed his phone and laptop so he can carry on working and keep in touch with his constituents.’
The Daily Mail also revealed that Matt’s girlfriend Gina Coladangelo, 45, will be flying out to Australia to support him on the show.
