AT&T will allocate up to $100,000 to businesses that use 5G technology in Mexico

the telephone AT&T launched the “AT&T 5G background”, in partnership with the non-governmental organization Endeavor who leads ventures that promote economic, social and cultural transformation.

The AT&T 5G Fund will allocate up to $100,000 to projects that drive innovation and development of use cases of technology fifth generation (5G).

Organizations interested in participating may apply for projects related to 5G use casesno matter what stage of development they are in, under topics such as virtual reality and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, smart cities, among others.

“All technology must have a purpose from which benefits are derived for all of society. The AT&T 5G Fund is one more example of our commitment to promote a 5G innovation ecosystem that offers advantages for all people”, said Sergio Almallo, expert in digital business transformation at AT&T Mexico.

“We are proud to continue changing the telecommunications game in the country through innovation and connectivity,” he added.

With the AT&T 5G Fund initiative, the company called on companies, universities and research centers to apply for projects related to 5G use cases.

In addition to financial support, the winning projects will receive advice from experts from AT&T Mexico, and with the Entrepreneurship and Transformation Laboratory of the School of Government and Public Transformation of the Tecnologico de Monterrey and Endeavor, on business models, 5G technology and other related issues.

Similarly, they will have access to the AT&T Mexico 5G Innovation Laboratory to carry out tests with this mobile technology.
