The New York Law enforcement Section verified to the AP that the male located his way into the foyer of the newspaper’s 8th Avenue place of work building. He wanted to converse to the outlet’s political journalists, the NYPD instructed the AP.
The man then handed about his weapons right after he was denied entry and was later on taken to the medical center for evaluation, The AP documented.
A agent for The Situations instructed the AP they were being grateful to the NYPD “for responding to an incident in our lobby that was resolved rapidly and peacefully.”
