The American empire Elizabeth Holmes was sentenced Friday to just over 11 years in prison for defrauding investors with Theranos, her biotech company.
Holmes, who is pregnant, will not have to turn herself in until April of next year, according to the ruling by U.S. District Judge Edward Davila, delivered in a San Jose court, California.
the founder of Theranos was convicted in January for persuading investors for 15 years that it had developed a revolutionary medical device before the company collapsed.
