Scarlette Douglas was the second campmate to be evicted from the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here camp during Sunday’s episode of the show.
A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette, 35, was seen bursting into tears after the news was announced, prompting her fellow cast members to comfort her.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnell told the campmates Scarlette and comedian Babatúndé Aléshé were in the bottom two after the public had cast their votes, with viewers also left shocked by the popular campmate’s early exit. Â
Following her exit, viewers took to Twitter to complain about the TV star’s eviction as they claimed it was a ‘fix’ after deeming her a favourite on the show.

Voicing their opinions on Twitter after the show, fans fumed that some of their least favourite contestants remain while Scarlette has been given the boot.Â
One person said: ‘There is no way Boy George and Matt Hancock are still going strong yet Baba and Scarlette were voted so low? It’s a fix I’m telling yaa.’
Another person wrote: ‘This has to be a fix surely how are Matt Hancock and Boy George still in the jungle but Scarlette is out???’

‘I know that some people wanted to leave and I was like “I’m not ready to go yet”.Â

Reflecting on her jungle journey over a glass of champagne, Scarlette – who got to enjoy a VIP experience alongside Boy George upon entering the jungle and later took on the role of camp chef – explained that she is a ‘team player’.
The screen star added that she would like Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatúndé to be crowned King of the Jungle.
She said: ‘Other than BG’s snoring, [the VIP experience] was fantastic. I really enjoyed it and I felt like that was me straight in.Â

‘I was a bit of a screamer! When you don’t know what was in there but then I thought “This is the first trial, you just need to get a grip”.Â
‘There was a point when there was a spider in the RV and I was gone, I was screaming. But there was another one and I was helping Mike [Tindall] get it out!’
She continuned: ‘I’m a team player and I love getting stuck in. My mum is Jamaican, obviously, and Charlene is a Jamaican mum as well we know what we’re doing, we’re just like “Stay out of my kitchen!”Â

Scarlette was the second celebrity to be evicted from the show after Loose Women anchor and ITV newsreader Charlene White who was given the boot earlier this week.Â
