They detain four alleged soldiers related to kidnapping in Tlaxcala

The Tlaxcala Attorney General’s Office announced that four active soldiers were arrested for their possible participation in the kidnapping of a family in that state.

According to the local agency, the events occurred on Saturday, December 3 of this year, in the municipality of Tlaxco, when a report was received about the deprivation of liberty of four people by a group of men.

Motivated by the foregoing, police elements of the PGJE and agents assigned to the Special Prosecutor’s Office in Combating Kidnapping, began the work of crisis management and negotiation to achieve the release of the kidnapped persons.

The likely perpetrators demanded the amount of 2 million pesos, after dozens of calls, to release the family.

“Three of the four victims were released, being the male, the female and a child under 11 years of age, who were located in a ditch on the Tlaxco-Apan highway, leaving a child under four years of liberty in custody,” he explained. the attorney.

After these people were released, an agreement was reached to pay 50,000 pesos in cash, which was delivered on the same highway and the minor was released.

“Meanwhile, elements of the Investigative Police began a pursuit of the kidnappers and upon arresting them, the police officers requested their identification, so the alleged perpetrators identified themselves with Sedena credentials,” the agency said in a statement.

The detainees were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry agent, who integrated the investigation folder for the crime of kidnapping and prosecuted the case.

“Subsequently, they were transferred to a Social Reintegration Center (Cereso) and the accusation will be made, where a Control judge will determine their legal situation in the next few hours.”
