The Mexican stock markets closed the negotiations with profits this Thursday. The indices advanced for the third day, while the market awaits data from the US economy that may give signals about the future of its interest rates.
The reference index of the Mexican stock exchangethe S&P/BMV IPC, which groups the 35 most liquid stocks in the domestic market, rose 0.70% to 51,078.70 units. The FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Exchange (Biva), gained 0.67% and closed with 1,064.21 units.

Within the benchmark, most components ended the day in positive territory, with 25 stocks in the green and 10 in the red. The best performances were obtained by the shares of the mining company Grupo México, with 3.37%, and Pinfra, which moved 2.95 percent.
