The Ministry of Economy (SE) and the Tax Administration Service (SAT) held the Good End 2022 Draw, however they did not report how much economic benefit was left by “El Buen Fin 2022” held from November 18 to 21.
“We are waiting for SE and the SAT to provide them (the figures). In fact, they are finishing making the adjustments. They were doing the analysis (…) We are waiting for them to provide them because they have to do an analysis regarding the economic trend,” Octavio de la Torre, treasurer of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism, told the media (Concanaco).
The Concanaco, through Héctor Tejada Shaar, its owner, estimated that during “The Good End 2022” sales of 195,000 million pesos would be registered, “because there are already 100% capacity in stores and people save their money to make those purchases,” he commented at the time.
For his part, Octavio de la Torre commented that from the Concanaco they are hoping that last year’s goal of 192,000 million pesos will be exceeded.
When expressly asked if the delay in the information by the authorities is because the stipulated goal was possibly not met, de la Torre commented that he does not believe there is a relationship and it would be necessary to ask the SE or the SAT.
Transactions for 61,453 million pesos
In the draw protocol, Andrea Hernández, general administrator of taxpayer services of the SAT, mentioned during her participation that in the four days that the “Good End 2022” lasted, total transactions for 61,453 million pesos were reported.
Meanwhile, the SAT official explained that for the Good End Draw 2022, 104,143 businesses were registered, of which 16,040 were validated to participate. In addition, 53 banking institutions also met the requirements to participate in the raffle.
“In said businesses we have a record of 37.7 million cardholder transactions, of which 18.5 million will be taken into account for the draw. In this tenth edition of the draw, the delivery of up to 326,249 prizes with a total purse of 500 million pesos is expected,” said Hernández.
People who bought a product with a value of 250 pesos up to 15,000 pesos during the four days of “El Buen Fin 2022” with participating credit or debit cards will be able to win prizes, which will range from 250 to 250,000 pesos. The total bag is 400 million pesos.
While for businesses, the jackpot is 260,000 pesos and, in addition, prizes of 20,000 pesos are expected to be awarded to 4,987 businesses. The total bag is 100 million pesos.
