Elon Musk hits back again at previous NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, who accused the billionaire of mocking the LGBTQ community by misusing gender pronouns

Elon Musk on Sunday engaged in a Twitter spat with a previous NASA astronaut right after the billionaire appeared to mock the use of gender pronouns.

“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” Musk tweeted, apparently referring to main White Home health care advisor Dr Anthony Fauci.

Scott Kelly, a former NASA astronaut, responded to the tweet, saying: “Elon, make sure you do not mock and market despise toward already marginalized and at-danger-of-violence users of the #LGBTQ+ group. They are true individuals with real feelings. In addition, Dr Fauci is a focused general public servant whose sole motivation was conserving lives.”

In a reply to Kelly, Musk said: “I strongly disagree. Forcing your pronouns on others when they didn’t check with, and implicitly ostracizing those who you should not, is neither great nor kind to any one.”

Kelly is a previous commander of the Global Place Station and piloted Space Shuttle Discovery on a mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope in 1999. He retired from NASA in 2016 after receiving many awards and decorations.

It is really not the initial time Musk has taken purpose at gender pronouns. In 2020, his ex-companion Grimes said “quit this” soon after Musk tweeted that “pronouns suck.”

Six months afterwards, Musk shared a meme that mocked gender pronouns utilised in social media bios. In response, LGBTQ advocacy group the Human Rights Marketing campaign urged him to apologize for his “insensitive” remarks.

A handful of days afterwards, Musk tweeted: “I completely help trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare.”

Not long ago, Musk’s transgender daughter filed to legally adjust her spouse and children title, indicating she no lengthier required to be discovered with her organic father.

In his response to Kelly on Sunday, Musk also designed a collection of allegations in opposition to Fauci with no delivering added facts or proof.
