The production of heavy vehicles during the first eleven months of the year totaled 181,525 units, which translates into a growth of 24.1% compared to the same period of the previous year, in which a total of 146,253 units were produced.

While truck exports achieved accumulated growth of 21.5%, which indicates that 150,872 units were sold, against the 124,157 units exported during the same period of 2021.

“The accumulated growth that we have observed in exports and production is partly due to improvements in the supply chain, in addition to the economic recovery. We hope that by 2023, if these averages are maintained, we will have new production and export figures,” confided the president of ANPACT.

For his part, Guillermo Rosalespresident of the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA), highlighted the growth in truck sales in the Mexican market, of 30.6% compared to November 2021, by placing 3,517 units, after 2,693 units were sold the previous year.
