TEPJF rules out anticipated campaign acts by PRI member Alejandra del Moral in Edomex

The Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) determined that the PRI Alejandra del Moral did not engage in anticipated acts of pre-campaign and campaign, personalized promotion or improper use of public resources when she was Secretary of Social Development of the government of the Mexico state.

Alejandra del Moral, who was appointed by the PRI as its coordinator for the defense of the State of Mexico, was denounced by Jaime Dominguez Gomez for said acts, but the Electoral Tribunal of the State of Mexico in the file PSO/18/2022, declared non-existent the infraction raised against the then head of the Secretary of Social Development of the Government of the State of Mexico, for presumed anticipated acts of pre-campaign and campaign, personalized promotion, improper use of public resources, and improper use of social programs for various publications on Twitter and YouTube.

Within this framework, unanimously, the magistrates of the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF considered that the grievances asserted by the prosecuting attorney are unfounded and inoperative, for which reason they ratified the resolution of the local court.

“Unfounded, while the challenged resolution is duly founded and motivated, inoperative by virtue of the fact that the plaintiff limits himself to reiterating that the elements provided in his claim should be insufficient to consider the infringement denounced fulfilled without elaborating arguments that directly confront the considerations on which the local court relied to dismiss their proposals”, he highlighted.
