A Hingham-based trust has claimed a $1 million prize from a Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket purchased in Plymouth. The Baker Law Group Mass Lottery Trust XIX, represented by trustee Michael Baker, won on the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game and opted for the one-time lump-sum payment of $650,000 before taxes.
The retailer that sold the ticket, Cedarville Wine & Spirits at 2245 State Road in Plymouth, will receive a $10,000 bonus. This marks the seventh of ten available $1 million prizes claimed in the game since its debut in June 2024.
