A male pedestrian was killed on Boxing Working day immediately after an incident involving a law enforcement auto in Scotland.
The person, 62, died immediately after the accident at about 10.15pm on Monday, December 26 at Almond Connection Road, Livingston, West Lothian.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh but was pronounced lifeless a short time later on.
He has not been formally recognized but his next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the marked police car or truck did not demand healthcare remedy. He was the only occupant of the auto.
The highway was shut for investigations but re-opened at about 4.30am on Tuesday.
Investigators are now appealing for witnesses.
The accident is getting probed by the Law enforcement Investigations and Evaluate Commissioner for Scotland (PIRC) mainly because a police motor vehicle was associated.
Steven Carr, senior investigator, claimed: ‘Our feelings are extremely substantially with the household and mates of the male who died.
‘Our investigation into the instances of this incident is continuing, and I would urge any drivers with dashcam footage, or anybody who witnessed the collision, to make sure you speak to Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 3422 of December 26 2022 or alternatively the Pirc during office hours on 01698 542900.’
