The “king” of football, the Brazilian Skindied this Thursday at the age of 82, announced his family and the hospital of Sao Paulo where he was treated for cancer.
Pelé died “at 3:27 p.m. local time, as a consequence of the failure of multiple organs, the result of the progression of colon cancer associated with his previous clinical condition,” the Albert Einstein Hospital, where the former player had been entered on November 29.

His team Santos and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) mourned the death of the “10”, which they called “eternal”, while the “Seleçao” player Vinicius Jr changed his profile picture on Instagram to Pelé’s signature with a black background.
