Colombian streamer Westcol is set to return to the boxing ring, facing Mexican singer Mario Bautista in a headline match at the “Supernova Strikers: Orígenes” event. The competition will take place at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes on Sunday, August 17. This marks Westcol’s first fight since his widely watched bout against TheGrefg at Ibai Llanos’ “La Velada del Año V” in Seville.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Central Mexico Time, with the Westcol vs. Bautista fight slated for 7:30 p.m. Colombian time, following a musical performance by Christian Nodal. The broadcast will be available for free on DAZN. Sanctioned by the World Boxing Council as an amateur tournament, the fight card also features a main event between Alana Flores, president of Raniza in the Kings League, and actress-singer Gala Montes.
Westcol, who commands a large online following, aims to redeem himself after his recent loss. His opponent, Mario Bautista, is considered the favorite due to his physical conditioning. In their previous high-profile match, Westcol started aggressively against TheGrefg but fatigued quickly. TheGrefg’s superior stamina and strategy allowed him to dominate the later rounds, leading to two standing counts against the Colombian and a clear victory for the Spanish streamer.
In addition to his own fighting career, Westcol is a key organizer of “Stream Fighters 2025,” another major influencer event. He was recently featured in social media videos training with influencer Karina García for her upcoming match against Mexico’s Karely Ruiz, scheduled for October 18 at the Coliseo Live in Bogotá. The training footage has generated significant online buzz, with Westcol telling his followers, “This year we break all the records again.”
