The conversation with Micha reignited controversy surrounding the origins of the couple’s romance, as Nodal spoke candidly about his breakup with Cazzu and the subsequent relationship with Aguilar, his wife since July.
Despite the public reaction to her husband’s interview, the “Mis amigas las flores” singer posted a serene video on her Instagram stories. The day after Nodal’s confessions were made public, Aguilar shared a brief clip showing her in a cream-colored outfit with her signature short hair and flawless makeup.
In the video, Aguilar sent greetings and a kiss to her fans during a conversation with radio personality and DJ Zane Lowe. The 21-year-old singer also shared a clip of her exchange with Lowe, signaling that she remains focused on her professional career and artistic growth amid the renewed controversy.
During the interview, Nodal defended his wife, questioning why she receives so much online hate. He asserted that Aguilar has been his primary support during difficult times, particularly through his disagreements with his ex-partner, Cazzu, and their respective lawyers regarding their daughter, Inti.
Nodal explained that communication with Cazzu about legal matters has escalated to their attorneys after they failed to reach an agreement. He shared that when he feels overwhelmed, Aguilar helps him stay centered. “She is judged for things she hasn’t done,” Nodal told Micha. “The one who has been there for me, supporting everything with my daughter, has been my wife. When my patience runs out or my anger gets the best of me, she’s the one who helps me focus.”
The singer also highlighted his wife’s thoughtful gestures toward his daughter. He recalled that when they first moved into their Houston home, Aguilar took the initiative to remodel and decorate a room specifically for Inti. “She told me she didn’t want to move in until the house was finished and kept saying, ‘a room is missing, a room is missing.’ It was my daughter’s room,” he commented.
Nodal concluded by claiming there are proven, paid social media campaigns targeting his wife. “She is not a hateful person,” he insisted. “If you know Ángela, you can’t hate her.”
