According to information from the Bank of Mexico (Banxico), the cards have 2,935 commissions associated with the 225 products of this type that exist between banks and sofomes.
This figure, however, is lower than that of 2021, when there were 3,108 commissions registered in cards for 229 products of this type.
Some of the commissions recorded for credit cards are: for annuity, replacement, cash withdrawal, use of Internet and telephone banking, to mention just a few.
The number of registered commissions does not imply, however, that they are all charged.
After credit cards, it is mortgage loans that register the highest number of commissions with 2,120 in a total of 815 products between banks and sofomes.
This is down from 2,327 commissions in 2021 on 848 products.
Some of the commissions registered for this credit product are: for opening, investigation and appraisal expenses, among other concepts.
